Alex's homecoming

Alex has been home for a little over two weeks. Somedays it feels like longer and other days it seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital praying for him to get better. It has been great having him home and being a "normal" family. He continues to do well; still eating like a champ and getting bigger and bigger everyday. We've been meaning to share photos for a while but just having gotten around to it. The following photos cover his last few days in the hospital and the last couple weeks at home. Enjoy!

Vanessa was one of Alex's night nurses (one of his favorites:) She was the first nurse he ever had when he got to children's and one of the first people Jeremy talked to, so it was only appropriate that she was his nurse his last night in the hospital:)

We want to thank all the nurses, staff and doctors at Children's for making it one of the best hospitals in the world and for treating our little Alex like one of their own. We are so grateful for all their hard work. We hope to keep everyone posted with more great pics and stories of Alex growing and his progress and checkups.
