The forecast called for rain, but amazingly there wasn't a drop that fell all afternoon - how's that for luck? It's wonderful when everything simply fall into place, and that's exactly how Susan and Paul's wedding unfolded.
Paul looked very suave in his tux, almost James Bond-ish; and Susan was quite stylish in her simple, elegant dress with a modern twist.
We were very excited they decided to do a first look! It made the day more relaxed so we didn't have to squeeze a load of photos into 15 minutes after the ceremony. We would also venture to say that it made the couple more relaxed by spending some quality time together before the craziness of the day began.
After a lovely ceremony, the reception unfolded with a kiss from the couple. Their first dance was so beautiful and effortless...almost like a scene out of a Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire movie. It was a real treat to watch the guests' reaction too. The best part was that Susan and Paul picked their first dance song 5 minutes before walking in! This was followed by the funniest (and longest) best man speech we've ever heard (thanks Brandon!) and poor Anna (the maid of honor) had to follow that, but she held her own :)
Enjoy the photos!
