Steve and Jess decided to have their wedding outdoors at the Cincinnati Garden Center. Wow, what a beautiful place that I have driven past many times and never even knew existed! For those of you that don't know, it is tucked quietly away off of Reading Road not too far from Children's Hospital. If you haven't been I highly recommend that you check it out!
We knew the forecast was calling for rain, so we kept our fingers crossed, grabbed our umbrellas, rain jackets and lens hoods and hoped for the best. As luck would have it the rain stopped mid-morning and sure enough the sun began to break through the clouds as we arrived at Jess's house to begin photographing the girls getting ready...it seemed fate was on our side.
This was a great wedding and the pictures below will tell the story. Please enjoy and as always we welcome your comments!

stunningly simple, just how a bride should be:

then it was time to see what the guys were up to:

Steve was looking quite stylish with a bit of artistic flair (as always):

you really can’t beat a skull tie on your wedding day, now can you?

nothing but style here:

these guys look like a whole lot of trouble:

…but nothing that a beer or two won't fix:

now on to a few of the details:

and on to the ceremony we go:

a quick shot of Jess’s son Connor:

all the guests gathered around the couple in the grass – it was very intimate:

and now for a serious shot: :)

one of my favorites of the day:

Steve’s best man David flew in from Japan for the wedding – now THAT’S a good friend!

there was even a magician at the reception to entertain the kids (and more than a few of the adults):

the coolest cake topper we’ve ever photographed:

David had asked the guests make origami cranes beforehand and presented them to the couple during his best man speech (cool, huh?):

a final shot of the happy family. we wish you all the best!
